This crowd-pleaser has a deliciously soft crumb, with a high rise and fabulous flavour. It tastes out of this world with butter and jam, but also works a treat in a lunchbox, with soup, or even just with a boiled egg. Although it’s best eaten fresh, it also makes great toast. It freezes well.
