soft wheaten loaf

Originally called ‘light’ brown bread (hence the label in the photo!) because of its lovely light texture, this bread has a deliciously soft crumb and stays fresh for days. It also toasts and freezes well. A quick whirl in a hot oven (10 mins at 160°C) after it has been fully defrosted restores its lovely crunch.
